KTC "Captive Spring Loaded Pins" are designed totally contained to be a single unit. They come in "Round Pin" or  "D-pin" configuration.

The "Round Pin" configuration has two options: "Keyed Round Pin" and "Keyless Round Pin". The keyless round pins come with 8 mm and 12 mm pilot sizes. and the pilots are ground by using two end center holes.  For each pilot size, there are 5  standard head sizes available with the increment of 3 mm. These "Keyless Round Pin"  can be easily altered to any final checking sizes by using the existing center holes. and They can be easily altered to Scribe Pins as well.

The "D-pin" configuration is designed to work in conjunction with the KTC "D Blanks" The precisely made "D-hole" in these blanks slip over the "D pin". The hardened blanks can be wire cut to the desired slot shape, round shape greater then 12mm, or any custom shape.
